City University College of Ajman (CUCA) is an institution of higher education established under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, and the chairmanship of His Highness Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi. CUCA provides a high-quality learning environment that fosters research and personal growth. CUCA uses a wide range of activities for academic and professional development.

Bachelor Admission Requirements:

Holders of UAE Secondary School Certificates 60%

Score of 1100 in the Emirates standardized Test (EMSAT)

Master Admission Requirements:

  • A four-year bachelor degree in Business Administration (or its equivalent) recognized by the MOHESR
  • A minimum Cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 (or equivalent)
  • TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based), (79 internet-based), or IELTS Band 6.0
The cost of attending university varies by program, however, a full time student can expect the tuition fees to range from 32992 to 35175 (USD) in this establishment.

Where is the City University College of Ajman located?

 We are located in the heart of Ajman on College Street, Al Nuaimia.

What are the office timings?

 We are open Sunday through Thursday from 8:30 am – 9:30 pm.

What documents are needed for admission?

You need to complete the application form which is available at the Admissions Department and attach the following documents to it:

  1. An original UAE high school certificate or certified equivalent with a score of at least 60%

  2. A copy of your passport or government identity card

  3. A copy of a valid UAE residence visa

  4. Four recent passport-size photographs For the BBA degrees in English, the applicant should provide a TOEFL certificate with a minimum score of 61 (iBT) or 500 (paper-based) administered at CUCA, or obtain a minimum score of Band 5.0 overall on the IELTS.

For the Bachelor of Human Resources Management (Arabic) and Public Relations and Advertising (Arabic), the applicant should provide a TOEFL certificate with a minimum score of 45 (iBT) or 450 (paper-based) administered at CUCA, or obtain a minimum score of Band 4.5 overall on the IELTS.

Does CUCA require TOEFL score for Law program?

No. The TOEFL is not required for Law program.

Does CUCA require SAT score?

No. The SAT is not required.

Is the GED secondary certificate accepted?

 No. The GED is not accepted for programs accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Does CUCA have an entrance exam?

Students who do not have the minimum required score of TOEFL or IELTS must take a placement exam to determine their level of English knowledge.

When can I take the entrance exam?

You can take the entrance exam once you apply to the College and complete the admission process. Am I required to take a mathematics placement test? No. Mathematics placement test is not required.

If I graduated from an English medium high school, do I need to submit TOEFL or IELTS results?

Yes. TOEFL or IELTS scores are required for all students.

Which TOEFL or IELTS type is accepted and what is the score?

If my high school average is below the minimum required by CUCA for admission, what options do I have to get admitted?

If your high school average is below than 60% , you are required to take the Foundation Program for one year. After you complete the Foundation Program, you will be eligible to register for the degree program.

What documentation is required to transfer my credits from another university?

You are required to submit an official (sealed) transcript and course syllabi from the institution you attended previously. Your cumulative GPA (CGPA) should not be below 2.0 and only the courses with a grade C or higher will be considered for evaluation.
